The to-do list is longer than my arm so the entire weekends been dedicated to getting some of them ticked off... with 'help' from the dogs. * re-seed the lawn... thanks for the help Harry the Labrador * tearing up the block of foam for the bin... thanks Rottweilers Kaiser and Akiva for the help I couldn't have done that without you * sitting on the sofa and not helping... thank you Wyatt the Yorkshire terrier Primo Pet Services 'Dotty' has helped us raise £42 for Puhi the rescue dog. Puhi was reported missing by his owner and while on the streets was involved with a suspected RTA. Now in the care of DOGLOST members, we're helping to fund his care. Primo Pet Services. Thank you to Jollyes Petfood Superstore in Enfield for their kind donation of calendars for us to sell no his behalf and all those who donated today!
We've welcomed some lovely new dogs to our groups this week and all of the dogs have been on their best behaviour - even the usually cheeky bunch!
Sadly my dog Kaiser was in the vets since 24th Jan after eating an expensive dog chew that splintered and caused a huge amount of damage internally. Now home and on the way to recovery :-) The lovely cold weather and rain have turned the local parks into muddy swamps. The dogs LOVE it, we're not so keen on cleaning off lots of FILTHY dogs after every walk! Instead we're walking in parks with concrete paths and where the entrances don't sink beneath our feet...!
Enfield Dog Walker - Chingford Dog Walker - Waltham Abbey Dog Walker - Enfield Pet Sitter Most of our Primo Pet Services dog walking and doggy day care clients are back after their Christmas break and not a moment too soon! Some of the dogs look like they had too much turkey and treats! One owner left a lovely note for us 'he may be a bit unfit after the holidays, he's been spoilt by the in-laws and no longer fits his harness!' Looking at my rottweilers today they seem to be putting on the pounds (despite having their usual diet) - I may have to drag them out for longer walks. The rottweilers like to sit on peoples feet when being cuddled (at least it keeps your feet warm) which weighs you down just long enough for them to give you a thorough 'nose interrogation' to see what other dogs I've been cuddling. |
